It’s been two weeks since I started my 30 day challenge.
I didn’t expect big changes so soon. I just wanted to show up — even if it wasn’t perfect. But somewhere in these 14 days, something quietly shifted.
Things that felt difficult in the beginning… don’t feel that heavy anymore.
And that itself feels like a small win.
🌿 It’s Not Effort Anymore, It’s Becoming a Habit
In the first few days, waking up early and moving my body felt like something I had to do.
I used to think about it a lot before actually doing it. There was always a moment of resistance — like my mind trying to convince me to skip.
But now, it feels different.
I don’t feel like I’m forcing myself anymore. It’s slowly becoming like brushing my teeth — something I just do without overthinking.
That surprised me.
Because exercise was always the first thing I used to stop whenever I tried to build a routine.
But now, I can see that it’s slowly becoming part of my day without feeling like a burden.
🌿 Listening to My Body (Without Guilt)
This week, I got my periods.
Earlier, I would have either forced myself to continue everything or completely stopped and then struggled to get back.
But this time, I chose something different.
I took 2 days off.
Not because I was being lazy, but because I genuinely felt like resting.
And for the first time, I didn’t feel guilty about it.
I didn’t feel like I was “breaking the challenge” or “falling behind.”
I just trusted that rest is also part of showing up.
And that shift felt more important than following the routine perfectly.
🌿 Everything Feels Lighter Now
Things that felt like effort in the first week now feel easier.
- Drinking water
- Reading
- Moving my body
- Being present
I’m not doing them because I “have to” anymore.
I’m doing them because I want to.
There’s less resistance now.
Even on days when I don’t feel like doing everything perfectly, I still show up in some way.
And that consistency feels more natural than forced.
🌿 Still Figuring Things Out
I’m still exploring what kind of movement I truly enjoy.
I know I don’t want something that feels forced or boring in the long run.
I tried going to the gym, but it didn’t feel like something I would continue. Walking in nature and doing dance workouts felt much more natural to me.
So now, I’m allowing myself to explore instead of forcing a fixed routine.
I want to find something I can enjoy consistently, not something I have to push myself into every day.
🌿 A Small Win That Feels Big
I’ve been consistent for 14 days.
That may sound small.
But for me, it’s something I’ve never been able to do before.
In the past, I would start with excitement and stop within a few days.
But this time, I stayed.
Even if it wasn’t perfect.
Even if I took a break.
Even if I adjusted things.
And that feels like real progress.
🌿 Conclusion
This is not a dramatic transformation.
But something inside me is changing.
Things feel simpler.
Lighter.
More natural.
I don’t feel like I’m chasing discipline anymore.
I’m slowly building a life that I actually want to show up for.
And I don’t know how the next days will go…
but for now, I’m just going to continue showing up — in my own way.
